2025 December President’s Message - Joe Abbin
The December 6th meeting will be our annual Christmas party which will also include the installation of next year’s officers elected at the November meeting. The party will be hosted by the Abernathy’s at the ballroom of the Sunrise Animal Clinic in Rio Rancho. This is always a fun event with great food and a bargain at $5 each. You can pay at the door. Bring your family and friends along with a side dish/desert. Make reservations with Jackie Abernathy at docszoo22@gmail.com or call 505-771-2113 and leave a message, or text Jackie’s cell at 505-269-4010. This contact info along with other party details are elsewhere in this newsletter. Bring a low cost gift suitable for either sex if you would like to participate in the gift exchange which will incorporate a new twist this year. Oh boy! Cash/check donations will also be accepted for the Roadrunner Food Bank. Share the joy with those in need.
It has been a great year for our club and next year is looking even greater! I’m honored to have been president and will be looking forward to serving as vice-president next year with Jeff Jackson as president. Jeff and I will be coordinating our activities. Please submit your ideas for activities and meeting programs. Better still, volunteer to give a talk or lead a tour! We all learn from each other.
See you at the party! Merry Christmas and have a safe holiday season!
